GB KGVI (1936-1952) + KEVIII (1936) Stamp Collection Mint MNH MM VF F Used VFU
My personal KEVIII + KGVI stamp collection. Featuring full mint sets of each main issue listed in Stanley Gibbons'Collect British Stamps', from the reigns of King Edwrd the 8th and King George the 6th. Some very fine and fresh MNH specimens included among these, plus plenty of used sets and individual extras in to boot. Carefully collected since childhood, the collection includes attractive/colourful sets and some hard to come by fine and very fine unmounted/mounted mint and used examples. Plenty of nice hand stamp cancels and/or overprints among the franked stamps too (CDS etc). This classic collector's package could make an excellent gift and, judging by the way prices have been going of late, potentially a cracking asset and investment also. Lots like this really don't come along very often at all, if at all. Needless to say, a fair bit of time, effort, and expenditure went into bringing it all together. The condition of the stamps of course varies but, generally, fine through to extremely fine (please judge for yourself). Extremely fine and fresh, rare and sought after LMM 10/- Dark Blue (SG478). Duplicates of some mint and many used stamps in this collection. Features the odd nice block and/or marginal in the mix. Please see my other items for sale.
